Bloe Jonson
Located in Byron Bay, this 150m² salon fitout transformed a new commercial tenancy into a calm interior defined by polished plaster wall finishes, custom timber joinery and an integrated lighting scheme.
The project was designed around the practical requirements of a working salon, with materiality and lighting contributing equally to the experience of the space.
Lighting positions, joinery set-out and plaster detailing were developed in parallel to achieve a consistent level of finish throughout. As natural light moves across the interior, subtle variation within the plaster surfaces brings depth to a palette deliberately restrained in both material and colour.
